Sociodemographic And Health-Related Predictors Of Online Information Seeking On Healthcare Providers In Russian Adults

The objective of this study was to examine the factors online information seeking on healthcare providers in Russian adults. Material and Methods — Our survey involved 1,319 participants regarded their sociodemographic health-related characteristics, along with providers. association examined via Pearson’s chi-squared test. odds ratios for determined predictors were obtained from multiple logistic regression model fitted data. Results Majority adults – 58.6% (95% CI: 55.9%-61.2%) used Internet collect most rigorous exhibited by females (OR: 1.951, p<0.001), graduate degrees 2.870, p=0.036), using more often 2.623, two or chronic diseases 1.699, p=0.005), those who had 7 medical appointments during last year preceding 2.438, p=0.002). However, age not significantly associated (p=0.922). No statistical difference found between residing rural, suburban, urban areas (p=0.518). Conclusion Sociodemographic affect patients terms current demand existing various groups highlights need increase patient engagement empower less active among them.
